Here at OceanBites, we–the writers–like to know what you want to read! For one week each month, we write posts related to a topic of your choosing. Please vote for what you’d like to hear about in July! And if you have suggestions for future themes, share them in the comments! Thank you!

  1. I would like to learn more about:
-sustainability of the fish in the ocean, and misconceptions, like “Oh, it’s only one fish I’m having for dinner, it won’t make a difference”, or “it’s farm raised so it doesn’t count”.
-how the media plays on our fear of the unknown and creates “sea monsters and killers” of ocean creatures.
-the role fish, and other ocean creatures, play in the survival of our planet. It isn’t just about no more fish to eat.
-evolution of the oceans and it’s creatures. What did it/they look like millions of years ago. What do scientists predict it will look like in the future.

    1. Hi Chris! Thank you so much for sharing those ideas with us! We will definitely include your ideas in our list of theme options for future months. They are all very interesting topics that I’m sure our authors can tackle in future. In fact, at least one of those topics may be covered soon. Stay tuned!
